Children's Ministries

Our Children’s ministry exists to assist parents in bringing up their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. We do not assume the role of the parent, but come along side them in providing teaching and resources that will reinforce what is being taught in the home. We deeply love our children here at Grace and desire to teach them to: 1) Fear and love God above all things (Prov. 1:7, Matt 22:37) 2) Respect and obey God’s Word (Eph 6:1-3, Joshua 1:8-9) 3) Honor and obey their parents in all things (Eph 6:1-3) 4) Love and serve others (Matt 22:38, Mark 10:45).

Sunday Morning Bible Hour, 9:30 am & 10:45 am

The children meet for age appropriate teaching in the following age ranges: 3-5, 6-9, 10-12. We use a God-centered curriculum (Generations of Grace developed by John MacArthur’s church in Sun Valley California), which focuses on an expository approach to God’s Word with rich application to the lives of children. The curriculum is “unified” in approach which means that each age group is taught the same passage of Scripture at an appropriate level. Over a three year period each group covers the historical books of the Old Testament, the Life of Christ, Acts and Revelation.

Wednesday Night, 7:00 pm

The children all meet together for a time of singing and teaching from the Word of God.

Back Yard Bible Club

Each year we pick a different church members neighborhood in which to hold our Back Yard Bible Club. During this time we have games, crafts, and age appropriate Bible teaching. Our goal is to help each member of our church be a witness in their neighborhood community.
